Course overview

Cyber security starts with understanding how digital systems work, where vulnerabilities emerge, and how they can be protected. This introductory course builds a solid foundation in information and cyber security, covering key concepts such as threat landscapes, cryptography, software security, firewalls, and online services. Participants will explore how vulnerabilities can be exploited and why security needs to be considered from the earliest stages of system and software design.
