Course overview
The Master in Advanced Materials for Innovation and Sustainability aims to equip students with an understanding of the full raw materials value chain. The programme addresses critical challenges in the field by focusing on three key themes central to EIT RawMaterials: substituting critical or toxic materials in products to enhance performance, optimizing material chains for end-of-life products, and designing products and services for a circular economy. Through this approach, the master prepares graduates to drive sustainable advancements in materials science and engineering.
What you will learn:
- Advanced functional materials, focusing on specializations in material interfaces, nanomaterials, ceramics, or hybrids.
- Skills in innovation, business strategies, and entrepreneurship to effectively commercialize new technologies and materials.
- Industrial challenges and research and development projects, collaborating with both academic and non-academic partners.
