EIT Health, established in 2015, is a part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and operates as a ‘knowledge and innovation community’ (KIC). Within the EIT, different KICs focus on diverse sectors of innovation, with EIT Health specifically concentrating on health and aging.
Goals
EIT Health aims to enhance European healthcare systems by fostering innovation, overcoming cross-border obstacles, and enabling life-changing solutions. With a focus on citizens’ well-being, the organization promotes healthy living and active aging through awareness, knowledge-sharing, and breakthrough solutions.
