You may be aiming to develop your career or to change your professional path, find ways to meet our societal challenges, explore educational material to support your present studies, or you are simply curious and want to learn something new, just for the fun of it. The EIT Campus online platform has something for all of you!

The EIT Campus online platform offers you education and courses in a wide variety of areas in cooperation with leading European education providers. We presently work with more than 200 partners and have already served millions of learners.

The range of courses and programmes is predominantly European, but we welcome learners from all over the globe. The focus is on technology-related courses in combination with innovation and entrepreneurship and how we utilize technology to create positive development and impact. We want to contribute to developing the required skills and knowledge needed to increase our ability to find and implement innovative solutions.

What’s the history and who’s behind this initiative?

The EIT Campus online platform was born out of the education programmes within the EIT, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a body of the European Union. We started in 2010 and that now have reached a significant volume and variety. EIT Urban Mobility has together with its sister organizations, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Climate, EIT Health, EIT Raw Materials, EIT Food, EIT Manufacturing and EIT Culture and Creative Industries, launched the EIT Campus online platform to make it easier for you to find the and take the courses and programmes relevant to you and your objectives.

Is this then just another course platform? Don’t we have enough of those?

We are different – the focus here is on what you need to learn to address and meet critical challenges we now face, particularly by using existing technologies in combination with an entrepreneurial approach. The courses we offer are not limited to online courses, but also included face-to-face and blended courses and programmes. We also come out of a European perspective and context, with a strong emphasis on an inclusive, democratic and cooperative approach.

The courses offered at launch will soon be followed by additional courses and programmes, and then will be continually updated as new courses become available. For the beta version of the EIT Campus online platform we will limit the scope to courses related to climate, food, raw materials and urban mobility. The initial target group is professional. For the next phase we will expand to more areas and also include academic degree programmes. The functionality of the platform will gradually be increased, based on your input and usage.

We hope you will enjoy exploring our portfolio of learning opportunities. Let’s learn together about how to make the world a better place, for the benefit of everyone!
