The home of Copernicus for Raw Materials online courses

This course will give the learners the opportunity to be introduced to Copernicus and Earth Observation. You will study the basics of imaging technology with the focus on active remote sensing in raw materials. This will allow you to discover how to monitor environmental impact and increase safety. During the course you will be exposed to case studies and exercises. The format of the course is online, and it lasts for 4 days, however we repeat the course 4 times a year so check our website for more information.

What you will learn:

Introduction to Copernicus and Earth Observation data.
Basics of imaging technology, optical and active remote sensing in raw materials.
Optimised ways to monitor environmental impact and increase safety.
Copernicus’ tools to tackle the industrial and societal challenges of raw materials in Europe.
