SUMMED-PV brings together science, industry, and hands-on learning to explore the critical role of raw materials in photovoltaic technologies. Designed for scientists, engineers, and future managers, this summer school provides practical insights into the full PV value chain, from materials and manufacturing to recycling and resource efficiency. Through direct interaction with researchers and industry experts, site visits, and practical activities, participants will explore how critical raw materials influence PV development and how innovation, recycling, substitution, and resource optimisation can contribute to more sustainable and cost-effective solar energy solutions.
