Course overview
The Cargo Bike Revolution Summer School is an intensive, hands-on programme designed for students and young professionals eager to transform urban mobility and build more sustainable cities. Delivered by Ghent University and the Technical University of Berlin, the programme takes place over two immersive weeks in Ghent (Belgium) and Berlin (Germany), where you will tackle real-world challenges in urban logistics.
Through fieldwork, expert-led sessions, workshops, and site visits, you will explore how cargo bikes can reshape last-mile delivery and contribute to cleaner, more liveable urban environments. Working in international, multidisciplinary teams, you will design user-centred solutions and develop viable business concepts while assessing their environmental, social, and economic impact.
