Course overview
On this course you will explore the three basic street typologies in your city: the local street, the shopping street and the thoroughfare street. You will then tour the streets typologies of three capital cities like the Hague, Tel Aviv and Barcelona, by trying to reimagine them with more people and with more people-friendly infrastructures. In your final project you will create your own “flying cars” animation.

- Strategies for creating cycle-friendly cities through policy reshaping.
- Rethinking traffic flow to improve cycling connections in urban areas.
- The informal rules of traffic and negotiation on two wheels.
