How can education providers help learners build the skills they need to enter employment and adapt to a changing world of work?

As labour markets evolve and new skills needs emerge, education providers have an increasingly important role in helping learners build the capabilities they need to enter employment, transition between careers and keep pace with changing workforce demands. Strengthening digital and transferable skills, while creating opportunities for upskilling and reskilling, can help learners navigate these transitions with greater confidence.

Through three expert presentations, audience Q&A and an interactive debate, the webinar will offer different perspectives on how education and training can respond to changing workforce needs and better connect learning with employment opportunities. It will also look at approaches that strengthen digital and transferable skills, support career transitions and respond to emerging skills shortages.

The webinar is part of the “Lifelong Learning for an Innovative Workforce” thematic strand of the Community for Educational Innovation (CEI), a European Commission initiative supporting dialogue and exchange among education stakeholders and promoting educational innovation across Europe.

Join the discussion to discover how education providers can help learners build the skills they need to enter the workforce, navigate career transitions and adapt to changing labour-market demands.
