Course overview

In response to Europe’s increasing demand for raw materials, this program equips professionals with the skills needed to contribute to a circular economy through the development of innovative designs and methodologies. It aims to improve resource efficiency, recover critical raw materials, and advance process design towards Zero Liquid Discharge of effluents and solid wastes. With a specific focus on eco-design principles for batteries and their lifecycle, the program aims to drive sustainable battery production within the EU market.

How to prolong product lifetimes through durability and repairability.
How to increase circular material use rates and reduce waste.
How to achieve higher recycling rates using process model based LCA tools.
