The so-called “superfoods” have become very popular over the last years: Kale, goji berries, quinoa or kefir are just some of them. However, what does this trendy superfood label actually mean? This course aims to answer this question, while critically exploring the social, biological and neuroscientific elements of superfoods. You will also assess the impact of this trend on the economy and society.
