EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), focusing on enhancing urban mobility since January 2019.

By developing efficient people movement solutions and optimizing public space, it aims to lead Europe’s urban mobility transformation. Through collaboration and stakeholder unity, the initiative prevents fragmentation, fostering impactful solutions.

Goals

EIT Urban Mobility aims to utilize cities as experimental grounds, collaborating with industry and academia to implement innovative technologies addressing urban challenges in transportation and waste management. Through these programs, the goal is to enhance urban living, promote innovation, reduce carbon emissions, and boost Europe’s economic competitiveness.
