EIT RawMaterials plays a vital role in Europe’s green and digital transition by promoting innovation in minerals, metals, and advanced materials.

Established in 2015, EIT RawMaterials is the largest network worldwide in the raw materials sector. The organisation supports raw materials projects and businesses in innovation, education, and business creation. It comprises more than 300 members from industry, start-ups, universities, and R&D, covering the entire raw materials value chain from exploration to end-of-life management.

Goals

The KIC’s goals include promoting sustainability, advocating for circular economy principles, and enhancing Europe’s global competitiveness. EIT RawMaterials works towards a resilient, circular, green, and digitally advanced European economy by diversifying supply chains, fostering innovation, and boosting the recovery of critical raw materials.
