Course overview

There is a lot of information available about food product labels, however, studies show that consumers are often confused about their meaning. This course provides the basis to make sense of regulations, logos and data on packaging; to differentiate between reliable health claims and the ones created by marketeers; and to understand ingredients lists or food labelling according to sustainability and animal welfare. The final goal of this course is that participants are equipped to make more informed food choices.
